What is AIVS?

Australian Immigration & Visa Services is an advisory service for individuals and families trying to understand the immigration and visa process for Australia. This process can be daunting, scary, and overwhelming for many people, especially if English is not a first language, due to all the paperwork and documentation that is required. AIVS aims to provide a helping hand and line of communication throughout this process, their industry expertise can help make the lives of people trying to organise visas and immigration easier. As a small business, AIVS aims to provide a more personal and friendly experience to their clients than their larger corporate competitors offer.

Australian Immigration Visa Services (AIVS) was looking for a clean, modern, professional, and friendly website to help the business generate a digital presence and attract clients. It was important for the website design to reflect the brand and personality of the company. AWD Digital used gradients and bright colours to reflect the friendly aesthetic of the business and owner. The Visa Immigration experience can be tedious and stressful for many applicants and one of the key roles of an AIVS agent is to make the process less difficult for clients. AIVS wanted to stand out from the corporate and very formal designs of competitors, whilst also conveying a professional appearance that matched the function of the business as a legal advisory.

AWD Digital was required to rebuild AIVS old website design. Prior to the rework the site was slow, performing poorly with SEO, and the branding didn’t convey the meaning and intention of the client. This process also involved a total company rebrand with a new logo design and colour palette.

Website Features

There are a large amount of visa subclasses available within Australia, one of the advisory services of AIVS is helping clients organise which subclass will be the most suitable for them. Because of this large library, it was essential for AWD Digital to create an organised backend. That made it easier to cross promote and tag relevant visa options on the different pages. To help generate clicks and appointments, a global booking banner was designed to fit on every page – making it as easy as possible for AIVS customers to book and get in contact.

Creating a friendly experience

AWD Digital aimed to make the website experience friendly and engaging for users, with UX at the core of the design philosophy. Simple graphical gradient elements and lots of white negative space were used to keep the website feeling clean and uncluttered.
